When you Hire Vehicles or Equipment from Adelaide Trailer Hire, we collect certain information from you including but not limited to your name, contact details, date of birth, address, driver’s licence number and credit card details.
We collect this information to provide the services requested and to ensure all necessary administration aspects are adhered to. We may also use your information to assist us with marketing research and development to improve our services, or to inform you of upcoming promotions. We may contact you by email, telephone, txt, fax or any other form of communication until you opt out.

Your Privacy is important to us and we ensure we will do everything in our power to keep your information private. All information we collect on you will remain within Adelaide Trailer Hire’s data base and will not be disclosed to any third parties excluding: credit card providers, credit reporting and fraud checking agencies, debt collection agencies, if you default in payment of amounts owed to us, councils, government and private organisations responsible for the processing of traffic related infringements, in relation to an accident or claim, insurers, the police and other persons involved in the accident or claim, driver licensing authorities and government, regulatory and law enforcement agencies where the disclosure is required or authorised by law.

4.1. The Hirer agrees that the Owner will collect certain information including your name, contact details, date of birth, address and driver’s licence number as well as other information.
4.2. The Hirer acknowledges that the Owner will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse.
4.3. The Hirer accepts that the Owner may use personal information as part of possible future promotions and offers.
4.4. The Hirer acknowledges that Vehicles and Equipment may have a tracking device fitted for monitoring purposes.
4.5. The Hirer acknowledges that the Owner may keep their personal information or details on file including licence details, credit card details and/or bank details.
4.6. The Hirer agrees that the Owner may use their credit card details for the retrieval of payment of unpaid fees or charges.
4.7. The Hirer agrees that the Owner may use their credit card details for the retrieval of payment of damages or repairs to the Trailer or its Equipment.

Credit Checks & Reports

The Hirer authorises CWA Enterprises Pty Ltd (and its related trading entities) to undertake credit checks and obtain information about the Hirer from any credit reporting agency, credit provider, or other relevant third party for the purpose of assessing creditworthiness, processing hire applications, managing accounts, and recovering outstanding debts.

The Hirer consents to the Company:

• Obtaining both consumer and commercial credit reports where applicable
• Exchanging information with credit providers, trade references, and collection agencies
• Disclosing information about the Hirer’s payment history, including any defaults, to credit reporting bodies where permitted by law
• Using the information obtained for ongoing account management, risk assessment, and enforcement of these Terms and Conditions

If the Hirer is a company or trust, the directors, trustees, and/or guarantors agree to provide personal guarantees and consent to personal credit checks being conducted.

The Hirer acknowledges that failure to meet payment obligations may result in:

• The listing of a payment default with a credit reporting agency
• Referral of the account to a debt collection agency
• Additional costs incurred in recovering the debt being charged to the Hirer

All credit information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
